More than ten years ago, a group of tourists found that the most beautiful Full Moon was at Haad Rin beach on Koh Phangan Paradise Island.
They arranged a party along the crescent-shaped beach of Had Rin to celebrate the Full Moon night. From then on, people from all over the world came to join the celebration. And now there are 7,000 to 10,000 people at the party each month to meet up for the islands top event.

Yes, you read perfectly right ! Unfortunately it is really hard to say the exact Full Moon Party date. Because of some Buddhist holidays the local administration of Koh Phangan sometimes shortly decides to move the Full Moon Party by a day or even two.
