Same Same Location - How to get there ... |
There are a numerous ways to get to Koh Pha-ngan. The regions premiere short-haul airline is Bangkok Airways;
also the owners of Koh Samui Airport which is the nearest to Koh Pha Ngan. They make around twenty return flights
to Koh Samui from Bangkok everyday, and also fly to Hua Hin, Pattaya, Phuket and Singapore from Koh Samui Airport.
If you want to explore Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, it takes just a connecting flight from Bangkok.

The most direct way is to fly from Bangkok to Koh Samui and then: |

Take a taxi to Maenaam Beach pier on Koh Samui and finally join the Lomphraya High Speed Boat to Thongsala Koh Phangan. The boat leaves 2 times daily at 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. (times are subject to change !) |

Take a taxi/mini bus to Big Buddha pier and finally join the Haad Rin Queen express boat to Haad Rin Beach Koh Phangan. The boat leaves 3 times daily at 10.30 a.m., 1.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. (times are subject to change !) |

Take a taxi to Nathon pier and join the SeaTrans or Songserm Express Boat to Thongsala Koh Phangan. The boat leaves 3 times daily at 10.30 a.m., 1.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m.(times are subject to change !) |

Another way is to travel by train or air via Suratthani: |

Take train, bus or fly from Bangkok to Suratthani. Then join the bus to Donsak pier and take the SeaTrans or Raja Ferry boat to Thongsala, Koh Phangan. The Ferry leaves 3 times daily at 10.00 a.m., 2.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m.(times are subject to change !) |

If you arrive in Tongsala, the best way to Same Same Lodge & Restaurant to take a taxi to Haadrin beach, which is about 20 minutes away along winding beautiful roads, approximetly 50 Baht per person. Then follow the directions from Haadrin to Same Same Lodge. |

To walk from Haadrin to Same Same Lodge & Restaurant takes about 5 minutes. From Chicken Corner, which is in the centre of Haadrin, walk along towards Paradise bungalows. Just before you enter Paradise Bungalows turn right and after 50 metres you will be at Same Same Lodge & Restaurant. |
